Humboldt Watershed CWMA actively coordinates with the SCA through workshops, volunteer events, and educational outreach. We strive to foster a community that values environmental stewardship and sustainable development. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on our local environment.
The HWCWMA has partnered with IFA in Elko to help landowners manage noxious weeds through its herbicide cost-share program, which is funded thanks to our partnership with Nevada Gold Mines. The program provides reimbursement for up to 50% of the cost of approved herbicides, with a maximum assistance amount of $75 per participant.
To participate, please stop by IFA at 390 30th Street in Elko, Nevada, and speak with an associate for additional information and assistance with eligible purchases.
